Finally back…for Finally Fridays
An "eclectic" mix of politics, social commentary, and other misc. stuff
It’s been over a year since I was truly on Substack, and online in general. I stepped back to focus on life and some personal things. Unfortunately for all of us, things haven’t slowed done politically — they’ve gotten even crazier.
I’ve spent the last year mostly absorbing the news, commenting during The Young Turks (on #tytlive and their website), and staying pretty active in the TYT community, including doing some volunteer stuff.
But I’ve missed the deeper interactions. A few years ago, my Twitter/X feed was active, I was doing #FollowFridays regularly, I had a website and then a Substack — and it all took a back seat for a while. I’ve missed being part of the wider discussion online, whether it’s about politics, culture, or just random things.
Starting this Friday, I’m launching ‘Finally Fridays’ on Substack. It’ll be a place for me to go beyond my live comments during TYT, take a closer look at the news of the week, and share some other things I’ve been reading about or working on.
Finally Fridays isn’t a news ticker. It’s a chance to catch up on craziness we all just lived through this week and to look ahead to what we’re going to do about it going forward.
